My Story

I’m grateful to have led a healthy, happy life for most of my 26 years, but – like so many of us do – I used to take my health for granted. (When you’re young it’s easy to feel invincible, isn’t it?!)

In 2017, this all changed. I was hospitalised with septicaemia. Since then, I have been on a complex journey of health highs and lows… test after test, doctor after doctor, emotional rollercoasters, dietary experiments and a SERIOUS learning curve.

I was diagnosed with Hashimoto’s Thyroiditis, as well as a number of co-existing issues like gut dysbiosis, adrenal fatigue, parasites and infections. And so began my holistic healing process… one that started with food and became about total transformation.

My healing journey will be lifelong, and I’m always working on the root causes of the condition, so I can put it into remission and regain my health.

Here’s the exciting part! This experience gave me the push to combine my passion for helping people feel AWESOME with my nerdy love of health and writing. So, I:

  • Created this blog on all things health, wellness, happiness and Hashimoto’s
  • Trained to become a qualified Integrative Nutrition Health Coach

Autoimmunity and chronic healing

As a Hashimoto’s warrior myself, I know how it feels to hit rock bottom and have no idea which way to turn or whether you will ever feel “good” again. I specialise in helping you navigate the healing process, so you can get to a place where you are THRIVING, not just surviving.

Mindset and emotional healing

Food is only half the story. The biggest breakthroughs come from working on mind, body and spirit. This was the missing piece in my healing puzzle. If you feel like you are reaching a healing plateau, or stress and negative self-talk is holding you back – I’m here to help.

We are all bio-individuals and no one diet fits all. However, whether you are looking to improve digestion, calm down inflammation caused by dis-ease with AIP, or even just boost your mood – it all comes back to a few simple, intuitive principles. Together, we’ll get these integrated into your daily life so that you can finally FEEL the difference.

Women's health

I know how tough it is to sit in a practitioner’s office and hear, “That’s just women’s problems”. That’s why I’m passionate about helping women who feel unheard, confused and stuck on their health journey. Having taken my health into my own hands, I’m well versed to be your partner and advocate in getting to the root of the issue, so that you can get back to feeling like Superwoman.
